PCI Hot Topics Seminar (held on Tuesday July 27th)
We'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended the PCI HOT TOPICS Seminar on Tuesday. Many of you came up to us and said how enjoyable it was meeting the other delegates and hearing how they were working towards compliance. It was useful to run things past the QSAs and hear how they would resolve those issues.
The PCI Hot Topics were:
- Keynote Introduction: Looking beyond PCI DSS... - Neira Jones, Barclaycard>
- PCI DSS: 2010 & Beyond - Paul Brennecker, SRM >
- End-to-End Encryption - John Walls, TNS & Martin Holloway, Verifone >
- Payment Security and Call Centres - Neira Jones, Barclaycard >
- Call Centre & Voice Recording - Cam Ross, Veritape > Contact us for details >
- Man in the Middle Attacks - Tom Fairfax, SRM >
Together Barclaycard and SRM, identified key
concerns amongst merchants who are implementing
PCI DSS and invited them to a
PCI HOT TOPICS seminar on Tuesday July 27th. It was open to Level 1, 2 and 3 merchants, and was the
perfect opportunity to find out how those issues
were affecting PCI implementation.
It was also a great opportunity for delegates to ask the panel of PCI industry
specialists about their concerns and get an insider's view.
Held in conjunction with Barclaycard, the panelist’s were Neira Jones,
Head of Payment Security for Barclaycard, Paul Brenneker, one of SRM's PCI QSAs and Shane Balfe, Technical Manager for Visa Europe, and Tom Fairfax, Director - Head of Advisory Services, SRM.
