Cyber Cluster Portal

The North East Cyber Security Cluster is following the pattern developed by the Malvern Security Cluster and is developing naturally over time. The cluster was launched on the 12th February 2015 at the unveiling of the dedicated Cyber Security teaching facility (Alan Turing LAB) at Newcastle College Digital Skills Academy.

The intention of the Cyber Cluster is to hold a series of meetings which may lead to a number of partnerships being formed. Previous experience suggests that a number of common issues will be highlighted as problems affecting many small cyber security companies. Within the National Security Cluster we are engaging directly with local and national government to address these issues.

There are four kinds of membership available; all are free of charge. The Cyber Cluster is run for the benefit of small companies working in cyber security and only SMEs can become Core Members of the Cluster. However, a wide variety of other companies can participate through the different categories of membership.
